Dear Reader,
Welcome to the Habboon White House! I have noticed that whenever individuals on Habboon start White Houses, they do wonderful, but they always collapse, and they seem to just, come up with ideas for direction as they go. That is a huge problem, and whenever you start an organization, business, or even mission, I have learned from my experience in the Marine Corps, that you always should have a commander’s intent.
This document is the goals and the mission statements of the White House, to list out in a coherent and easy-to-read fashion what we want to achieve as an organization, and how we wish to accomplish these goals. This is to give the White House a purpose, and sense of direction, that is more than just “becoming the most popular and/or powerful agency ever on Habboon.”
- Revive The Agency Community - Over the past few months, a decline has been seen within the agency community. Seeing as the agency community is something that many members of Habboon hold to heart, and have taken part in, the Habboon White House wishes to revive this by bringing a new structure of the agency, more intricacy, more positions, and more opportunities to further yourself, you leadership skills, and to join into a career that you actually enjoy. We at the White House have noticed that the agency communities follows the same old structure every time. The same ranks (or equivalents of), same badges (or equivalents of), same structure, same basic layouts, same everything. This has gotten monotonous, and many people have grown bored with the community because of this cookie-cutter fashion of “successful” agencies. We wish to change that, by bringing in something new.
- Develop Leadership Skills & Work Ethic - Though many will find this to be a bit of a weird one for an online game, the Habboon White House strives to develop the leadership skills and work ethic of those who join its ranks. We attempt to do this by providing further educational opportunities on leadership skills which have been tried and tested by successful organizations such as the United States Marine Corps, United States Navy, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the United States Secret Service. Developed directly from their guides and official publications, these are adapted to be applicable to leadership within Habboon Hotel’s White House. We are a firm believer that great things start small, and what people learn about leadership within the game, is sure to transfer over to their successful leadership within the military or career fields that they will choose as adults. Ethics such as discipline, professionalism, restraint, compassion, tough-love, and mission/goal oriented mentalities are what drive the White House’s leadership programs. To go with our leadership, we also wish to develop the proper work ethic of our employees. Once again, everything good starts small, and by developing a good work ethic in-game, it is our belief that such a work ethic will transfer into career fields of the individuals who we employ. We drive for them to take responsibility for their actions, to strive for more responsibility, to handle stress properly, to be direct and concise with their work, and to also provide the best quality work they can. As well as independently having to work on projects, such as forms, scripts, meetings, etc., and requiring all personnel to have a set of weekly/biweekly/monthly tasks which they must complete.
- Improve Their Education - The White House understands that sometimes trying to balance school, work, and the White House can be hard. This is why the White House Tutoring Association (WHTA) was created. Within the White House, we have everything from college students to middle-school students who are employed within our ranks. By assisting each other with the school work they are required to do, not only does it ease the load on students, but also improves their grades, their work ethic, and ensures that the White House does not impede on their life outside of the White House. Having a tutoring association also builds teamwork, and bonds employees together making an overall stronger organization.
- Support of Civil Rights - The Habboon White House is a strong supporter of civil rights. The White House strives to increase the awareness and acceptance of members of the LGBTQA community, and strive for the equal treatment and end to negative stereotypes and mistreatment of women. The Habboon White House understands that our members are generally between the ages of 13 - 25, which has the highest suicide and mental illness rates of any age group in the world. The White House wishes to help people who are in need, by not only accepting them for who they are, but also supporting them through whatever endeavors they face for their sexual identity, sexual orientation, or gender.
- Online Safety - The White House is devoted to the safety and security and security of its members online, and works extensively to to maintain it. To combat online sexual predators we have created courses through our Department of Education as well as report forms to not only give members the tools to keep themselves safe, but to ensure that they are properly educated on the signs of sexual harassment and online sexual predators and their common tactics. To further our security, background checks are conducted on all incoming members of the White House with a rank of 9iC or higher to ensure that we minimize hiring any individuals who can be considered dangerous by conducting cyber-warfare (hacking, DoSing, DDoSing, DoXing).
- Redeeming the White House - Over the past few years, the White House has gone from a professional and prestigious agency with a good name in the Habboon community as a whole, to a laughing stock. Our White House is looking to work towards rebuilding the White House’s reputation and prestige, to make its name synonymous with professionalism, good quality work, and a force of good within the community.
- Making Agencies Fun Again - Though the White House is working to rebuild the prestige of the community by improving the professionalism of the White House, it still strives to make agencies fun again. After all, Habboon is a game, and we at the White House understand that agencies have lost their appeal because for many, they just aren't fun anymore. That is why the White House has created Moody Monday, where everyone gets to break the dress code and wear what they want. This along with in-house knowledge events, an updated tribune with events such as a lottery, character finds, etc., and a revamped Department of Energy devoted to creating fun events, running casinos, and continuously working to make the Habboon a more community supporting and fun agency.
- Realism - The White House understand that not everything is perfect with its recreation. Some things have to be altered to make it applicable to in-game. However, the White House continues to strive in its endeavor to recreate a functioning United States government. We do this by structuring out White House to include all three (3) branches of government. By requiring committees, a proper bill format, and by making our documents and rank systems and functional and professional as possible. As well as breaking down our executive branch into independently working department under each Presidential Cabinet Secretary.
With these goals and missions, the White House will have a sense of purpose and direction, giving an edge over our fellow agencies, and allow the White House to move forward in a continually progressive and moral manner.
